Oh and on the question of proof....Do the dpa figures just relate too the people who you come into contact with in the line of work, can you please tell me the numerical scope of that?

Sorry to disappoint chaps.

I'll be sure not to ping off any posts of less than essay length in future.

I did read your question Penners...you did not answer mine adequately regarding fathers who do not contribute. Ironically, considering what you said to me about blame.....you just blamed the women a bit more.

Fiddle, was your answer 4000 words long?

Brucie's

I answered with fruit.

As are apples. Bs are fruit. Cs are bananas. Then the answer becomes obvious.

Fruit is a great way to solve these venn diagram problems in your head.

Seldom agree with you much on anything but I make your second paragraph 100% right there.

At my Oxford interview I was asked:

"If all As are Bs and some Bs are Cs, does it follow that some As are Cs?"

Penners, I'm joining this late but I do like a linguistic and discourse query!

I am well versed in Wittgenstein (I read a quote what he did some years ago).

You pose the question sublimely beautifully: "If these unemployed woman refer to their occupation as full time mummy, are the mums who bother to work part-time mummies?"

I will need to think about this but I wonder if the fact that, in Aristotelian logic, A = A does not mean that A = B resonates?

Nurse, i find people like debs are the kind who blame everyone else for everything. Blame the government, blame the bankers, blame men etc.

No one wants to take responsibility for their own lives anymore. Then when you try and do things right...you are called smug.

Re: Duncan Smith quits government over disabled benefit cuts
I do have proof debs. But cant post it due to dpa. Do you actually read the posts, or due you just twist what people say?

Anyway, back to my original question. If these unemployed woman refer to their occupation as full time mummy, are the mums who bother to work part-time mummies?

You can call Penners smug (I wouldn't agree he is) but at least he doesn't cost me bundles of cash, while sitting on his arse all day, firing out gormless sprogs like a t-shirt canon.
